Mission
Organic higher education school presents itself as the first school dedicated to organic agriculture and bio-agroecology. The first cohort will begin its learning journey in October 2026. It was therefore essential and urgent for Organic to equip itself with effective communication tools to ensure successful recruitment.
Challenges
As always, a committed positioning requires consistency at all levels. Therefore, it was important for Organic to develop an inclusive website with a limited environmental impact.
Additionally, the enrollment processes required external payment and validation mechanisms, as well as the implementation of automated confirmation emails.
Solution
In this context, the partnership with Anthony Barbarich and his digital studio (Studio Colibri) was crucial. From the project’s outset, we established key eco-design principles to ensure a durable, sovereign, accessible, and lightweight result.
Thus, we made design and technical choices through the lens of eco-design and the desire to create an exemplary website. Mission accomplished, as the website:
- Strikes a reasonable balance between attractive design and a commendable environmental score (84%);
- Is built on an optimized and thoughtful use of WordPress (ensuring temporal stability and decent environmental performance);
- Relies on open-source technologies (WordPress) and/or third-party European tools (forms and payments).
In parallel, we supported Organic in creating a presentation brochure, whose artistic direction naturally extends from the website’s design.
We also proposed an exhibition stand concept that uses the modular Playwood system, enabling total layout flexibility at a lower cost.
